The year 2019 has already brought big changes to our Council District. My predecessor, Mitchell Englander left his position at the beginning of the year but not before ensuring that the people of the 12th Council District would keep a voice and a vote on City Council.
For the first time since the 1960's, the Los Angeles City Council voted to install a full voting member to serve the District until the results of a special election can determine a successor. I'm honored that the City Council has entrusted me with this responsibility. In the time that I am privileged to serve as your Councilmember, I pledge to provide prompt and reliable service to you and to protect the safety, health, and livability of our neighborhoods.
My office has recently relaunched new social media accounts so you can stay up to date on the day-to-day operations of our office. I encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Twitter so you can see what we're working on and report any issues.
I look forward to working together again and thank you for the dedicated support and partnership you provide to our community.
