Eric is one of the District Directors in the Chatsworth District Office. In this role, he oversees field operations including community outreach, City department issues, neighborhood projects and improvements, quality of life issues, and constituent relations in Council District 12.
Eric also serves as the Transportation Deputy for Councilmember Lee, working with organizations like LADOT, CalTrans, and Metrolink, and advising on transportation issues in the district and across the City.
Eric is a veteran of City Hall and brings over 30 years of public service experience to the team. He started his career as a student worker with LAPD, then began serving in the Community Development Department, City Clerk’s Office, and finally spent many years on the staff of several different City Councilmembers representing the 12th and 15th Districts.
A native Angelino, Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts in history, with minors in political science & English, from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in intergovernmental management, from the University of Southern California. He also holds a Paralegal Certificate and a California State Real Estate Salesperson License. Eric has been married to his wife, Roslyn, for over 27 years and has a son, Connor, and daughter, Isibéala, both college students.
