I was proud to join with Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, Mayor Garcetti and the Trebek family to cut the ribbon on the Trebek Center which will provide 107 bridge housing beds in Northridge. The product of a partnership between the City of Los Angeles and Hope of the Valley, with the support of so many local residents and organizations, the Trebek Center will provide safe housing, case management and a full complement of supportive services to persons experiencing homelessness in our community. One of the noteworthy components of this project most important to me is that residents of the center will have access to professional mental health services in-house and on-site.
